Sites submitted will be verified and inclusion is at our discretion.

Pornography (Porn, Sex) content (Adult gambling/Casino-sites and/or erotic content ONLY IN "Adult" category).
If you want to list an erotic and/or gambling site and we find links to porn and/or sex sites your link will be on "suspend" (not listed) untill you let us know your site has changed to fit the Submission Guidelines!!!
(this means: erotic content is accepted but make sure there are no links to sex and/or porn)

We will NOT accept free submissions with reciprocal-link of "Mail Order Brides" sites / Dating sites / Adult / Casino and/or gambling site's. Please choose a normal listing or featured listing!

MFA or Spam Sites / mirror sites / same URL's / sites consisting largely of affiliate links / To many or only Google ADs etc... / Redirect url's etc...etc...

Sites containing the sale of illegal Pharmaceuticals or other products. Legal site's who offer online medicines have to do a payment! (no free listing accepted)

Sites containing hate of any nature. (these site's will be banned)

Any ILLEGAL content such as warez, bootleg movies or illegal music, illegal drugs, hacking, unlawful practices.

Sites that are copyright infringing.

Sites that are made to mislead.

Sites overusing PPC advertising. (or have too much CPC as in Adsense or YP)

Any content we feel is objectionable.

Sites that have no content.

Keyword stuffing and/or hidden keywords in your website's title and/or in description, will result in automatic suspending (means "not visible") of your listing untill you let us know that your site fits the Submission Guidelines again!
(or your domain will be "banned" from this directory if your site is misleading)

The standard time your listing will be advertised is 1 year!

We prefer sites in English but if your site is in a different language and you do not have an English version then post it under the appropriate country (don't use "INTERNATIONAL" for non-english websites).

Please submit to the correct category or subcategory, we will try to move it for you but if it's not clear what's your website about or what countries are supported or which category to pick then we will automatically suspend your link untill you inform us. Please be concise and do not waste your time or ours.

Deep-linking is allowed but only to INTERNATIONAL and/or a COUNTRY category! (be aware that links & categories move and/or change names sometimes, and you end-up with a dead link!)

Sub-domains are not allowed...if you have a serious business please register a domain! Try domainfellow.com

If your site is under-construction do not bother submitting until it is complete as your submission will be suspended untill you let us know when it is finished.
(this means that all links on your site should work)

If you are not happy with your listed website (or want it to be moved or removed) or when there's a payment problem please use the "Contact Us" form to contact us.

Submission will probably be denied if you submit you inner pages like www.domain.com/page.html  so submit only your topleveldomain! Example: www.domain.com

If you want to submit multiple domains (with different extension like .com .net .org .biz etc), you have to do multiple payments!
Normally we don't list the same domainname twice but we will make exceptions to paid (featured) listings - this is at our discretion! This means for each Domain you have to do a payment!

We place an automatic queue to effectively review each site for validation...normally your site gets listed within a few days.

NumberOneLinkDirectory.com does not accept any liability for false or misleading ads or links but please let us know if you find a misleading link...we shall remove it!

If more direct links point to your website business your search engine ranking will improve sooner or later, and slowly you will get more & more visitors (and more sales) if you submit to more online directories, so play the game smart & fair and use good description-words and title, allso read carefully this page on how to do that!
Please don't use spam techniques / popups who redirect / hidden keywords / scripts who force your visitor in doing or clicking something...the result will be that visitors start blocking your site (mail) or avoid ending up at your url! Worse will be if Google / MSN / Yahoo penalize your site...or even remove it from the index!!!
Be very carefull with popups / popunders...visitors don't like to many popups...or they turn on their popup-blocker!!!
If you are in the wrong category or you use inappropriate keywords then visitors will probably not find your website or aren't interested in what you have to offer because you're in the wrong category! (EXAMPLE: if a visitor is looking for used cars and used bikes and your second-hand-car-bike-website is in the category new cars and/or new bikes then probably you lost that visitor. Other visitors who are looking for new cars and new bikes will probably not click on your link since the website is about used cars & bikes)

Go to *INTERNATIONAL* if your website is world wide related or more then 1 Continent and/or if you want international visitors.
Submit into the appropriate SUBcategory...(International means WORLD-WIDE...not only USA and Canada)

Go to *YOUR COUNTRY* if your website is regional or local and/or if you don't want international visitors and/or if you have a non-english website.
Submit into the appropriate SUBcategory...

If *YOUR COUNTRY* is NOT there then please suggest a NEW country-category FIRST, there where your business is located.

If *YOUR SUBCATEGORY* is not there please suggest a NEW SUBcategory in *INTERNATIONAL* or *YOUR COUNTRY* FIRST, based on what your business has to offer...

DESCRIPTION FIELD (suggesting a link): Allways name the country AND use the same subject-name for your business as the SUBcategory you want to submit to.
Even better would be to put country / international or worldwide & subject in the TITLE FIELD.
So if your website is about Real Estate in Thailand then use those keywords (real estate thailand) in your TITLE.
(country & subject keywords are very important for visitors looking for specific information using those keywords on our website or with Google / MSN / Yahoo)

You should submit a site to the single most relevant category. Sites submitted to inappropriate or unrelated categories may be suspended (not listed).
(links in the wrong category will probably not receive clicks from interested visitors anyway)
Make sure you don't submit the same subcategory-name twice in *INTERNATIONAL* and/or *YOUR COUNTRY*
Subcategories can be anything like, computers, real estate, travel, games, software, food, flowers, animals, lifestyle, sport, news, media, money, music, art, furniture, entertainment, shopping, clothes, business, books, 2nd hand...etc...etc...
Subcategories should NOT be names of countries or areas or states or cities or villages...use the TITLE or DESCRIPTION FIELD instead.

If you choose "Free with reciprocal"...
Place a backlink to numberonelinkdirectory.com on your main website before submiting to this Directory!
Make sure the backlink is accessible from the main page or placed on the main page!
If we cannot find a backlink or reciprocal link through the main site,
we have to suspend your listing afterwards so this means the page where you place the backlink or reciprocal link MUST BE findable/searchable from the MAINPAGE all the time!

We check reciprocal links automatically once a month! You HAVE TO inform us if you change or move your backlink or reciprocal link.
We remove or suspend your listing automatically if we cannot find a reciprocal or backlink to numberonelinkdirectory.com on your mainpage or another linkpage!
If we can't find (easily) a link from your mainpage to your reciprocalpage or linkpage we will remove or disapprove your link untill you let us know your link(page) is findable from the mainpage or your link is placed ON the mainpage!

If we find our link on a different domain with a different or lower pagerank or ranking than the domain you list with us for free, we will remove or disapprove your link because in this situation a free linkexchange isn't useful for us and you need to make a payment!
